I am a self-employed coach - certified level 2 in Canada in 1989; certified level 2/USATF in the US in 1991. I coach adult runners from a 52 sec 400 meter 48-year-old male to a 50K+ 70 year old woman who won her age-group at the US XC champs in Portland in December. I broke Canadian 65+ records in 100 meters, 200, 400, 800, 1500, mile and the marathon in 2003. So I try to practice what I coach. I've been running since 1975; coaching part-time since 1988; full-time since 1993.

I do not get to compete too much because I spend so much time as a coach, but I was able to high jump at the Dartmouth Relays where I cleared 5' 10" which is the highest that I have jumped in a few years.
